Appeal for Cyclone Affected People in Bangladesh

Bangladesh Students Society (BSSMMU) of Manchester Mertopolitan University is making this appeal to help millions of people left without food and shelter following the recent cyclone in southern Bangladesh. More than five million people have been affected by this cyclone known as 'Sidr'. Families have been left without food, water, or shelter, while an estimated million homes have been destroyed or damaged and around a million acres of cropland devastated. This was one of the most ferocious cyclones to hit Bangladesh in decades. People in the affected area desperately need help and your support will play a crucial role in getting relief to the survivors.

BSMMU is urging everyone to contribute in every possible way and to take part in this humanitarian aid. BSSMMU is collecting fund and will provide help direct to the affected people with the help of BSSMMU members who are in Bangladesh.
