African Carribean Society: "Embracing a Culture, Redefining a People"

The ACS is a society which aims to unite the students with African/Caribbean heritage. In addition, we welcome all regardless of colour, nationality or religion who wish to gain further insight into our culture and who wish to take part in our many activities (Culture-nights, Hip-hop raves, food-fairs, museum tours, career-days, etc)

It is a gathering of people to express ideas and exchange their opinions, an avenue of learning and a reference point for issues relating to Africa, the Caribbean and the U.K which effects or which our members have concerns about.

We have a membership base in excess of 100 and draw students from Manchester, Manchester Met, Salford and UMIST universities to our events.
