If your a keen kayaker, eager to get some awards under your belt, get yourself registered with the BCU.

If you are 18 or over, you will need an adults membership.

There are two possible choices:

Adult Comprehensive, costing £35.00. This level of membership is needed if you are planning on taking any coaching awards.

• Adult Basic, costing £29.00. This is members who intend on kayaking and canoeing for recreational purposes only.

The British Canoe Union was established in 1936, sending their first team to the Olympics in Berlin!

The BCU is the leading National Governing Body for canoeing and kayaking in the UK.
