HAVE YOU BEEN AFFECTED BY THE LECTURERS STRIKE?
|
|
Since the 7th March a large number of MMU lecturers have been participating in the national assessment boycott in protest against poor wages. Although the principles behind this boycott are strong and clear, this action has so far brought the lecturers no closer to a better pay deal, but rather has only made University life harder for students. In a dispute with the University, it should not be the students who suffer. If you agree please sign this petition.

I, the undersigned, wish to express my disapproval of the industrial action being taken by University lecturers in boycotting the marking of assessed work.
As a paying student to this University I deserve the best from my institution.
My education and future job prospects are being put at risk as a result of this boycott, and I urge you to do everything in your power to bring an end to this dispute as soon as possible
