FReshers weeks and fairs All the info you need
You will be pleased to know the new uni year kicks off on the 22nd Sept lets take some trophy's home girls!
Freshers we want you! No matter what your level of skills within football are, you are more than welcome on this team. With weekly socials, friendly team mates, mothers and daughters, and of course football and the chance to play as a team for a winning side you know it makes sense to come and join the football team. Freshers fair's will be held at both Crewe and Alsager, the Crewe fair is on the 24th September and the Alsager fair is on the 25th September, so get along and sign up for us! If you want to know what ladies football is about in Crewe and Alsager just have a chat to any one of us who will be there, or keep looking on here and i am sure you will get the idea. Training sessions will be held on Mondays from 4.45 untill 6.30 at south fields in Alsager and on Thursdays from 4.45 until 6.30 again at south fields in Alsager.
One of the main reasons you will join the football team is to play football and have a good social life outside. We are all determined to do well this year with both first and second team and possibly third team if all goes to plan. Matches are played on a Wednesday. We also hold weekly socials on a Wednesday, more information about these will be on the socials page. Don't worry though there is no pressure on you if you don't want to participate in socials it is fine or even if you do not want to drink just inform one of the social secretaries! But please come along you are ALL more than welcome! Look forward too meeting you all!
If you choose to join ladies football like all other clubs there is a joining fee, ours is £40 and this includes nike socks and shorts. All players must also have a valid AU card these can be purchased from the SU and are needed for insurance reasons. There is also jumpers and tracksuit's which you can buy for football which can be used when going to play matches or to be worn when you choose, more information will either be posted on here or given to you at training sessions.
