Membership info
If you want to participate in any of our activites, you need to be a member and if you are interested in joining MMU Mountaineering here are the details of how to obtain membership.
Firstly you need to be a member of the Athletic union and to do this you need to go to the Student activities centre on the 3rd floor of the Students Union. this will cost £5 and will enable you to join any sports club in the SU.
Once you have your shiny new AU card then it will cost you £15 to join us. you're probably thinking 'what a lot of money!!'
Its not really when you get membership to the British Mountaineering Council (BMC) the year which is normally around £25. Also you get insurance with both the BMC and the SU. You also get subsidised trips away and use of our equipment.
