Harry in his first year played for Midlands 1st team in goal. He was soon a reliable social member and rarely missed a night out. He had some comical moments in goal which are funny to look back on. His best moment came when he cleared a ball against his central defenders arse which luckly for him just went wide. Off the field Harry was always the centre of the changing room banter usually on the recieving end. Harry took a lot of stick for the fact that he was Britains biggest baby and was famously told by Marini that "your mother must have a fanny like a sink". Harry's best moment in his first year came when on tour in Lloret De Mar. A sneaky shoe thief stole Harry's only pair of shoes and held them for ransom. Harry had to spend at least one hour a day in a hamster wheel to keep his shoes alive. It became a race against time for Harry to get his shoes back and he was determined to win. It was unclear who the shoe theif was but it was clear that Harry can keep is calm in pressure situations. After returning back to Alsager his anticks did not stop, he dressed up as the christmas pudding a stunt which lead to him being named fresher of the year.
