What we do!!
Walks
On each trip we normally have three graded walks. This allows us to provide a walk for each person, whatever their ability.
We mostly go to
- Lake District
- Snowdonia
- Peak District
However we have been known to go on mad wanders on a whim, so speak up if you fancy somewhere out of the norm and we'll most likely plan a trip there
(go to the extra trips page for some of our long weekends)
The Casual walk
is exactly what it says: quite a slow pace with long breaks, dinner will usually be spent in or near a pub (if you like that sort of thing!). They are normally between 10 and 12km and will not usually have very large hills. This type of walk is ideal for the person who doesn't really want a lot of exercise but would like to get out of Manchester and see some beautiful scenery.

The Medium walk
is usually a little harder than the easy walk, going further up the hills and mountains and a little more distance (11 to 16km). There will usually be a break at a pub for lunch but this may not always happen. This type of walk should blow away the cobwebs from Manchester.

The Hard walks
are usually for the more adventurous. They can range from quite short distances with lots of ascent to quite long distances over flat ground. The long walks will take you to the summits of the hills and mountains with spectacular views (weather permitting!), and may usually involve some scrambling.
