One day National Fast -15^th November

The MMU Islamic Society does the One Day National Fast every year, and each year they raise money for a different charity, this year it’s CHILDREN IN NEED.  This event not only promotes fund raising for a good cause but also helps foster closer ties between Muslims and other communities.

 

SU President Muhammad Jiwani, Vice Chancellor John Brooks and many other students and staff have joined in this generous cause by fasting from sunrise to sunset. Please join in; its open to all students of MMU, all the donations will go to Children in need.

 

The Islamic Society will be providing a FREE meal to break the fast in CAVENDISH: MUSLIM PRAYER HALL. The programme will begin at 4pm 15^th Nov. It is a chance for all those who took part and fasted to break their fast together.

 

The Students Union have also been raising money for Children in Need via donations from students and Pudsey even made an appearance in K2!!!!
