We are back after a slightly disapointing season but we all still had fun and have a brand new commitee to bring it into the 08/09 season! We're hoping to build up the team this year with LOTS of new members.
David Siddall (coach D) will be coaching us for yet another season! He has good experience playing basketball for various local squads and really taken the time to get to know us as a team. Training will also be taken by Kevin Murphy who also plays basketball for his local team and is currently training as a teacher, so watch out girls..you will get schooled!
Not only do we all enjoy a good game of basketball, we are a very social team that enjoys crazy (some themed) Wednesday nights out. Starting at the Student Union, we usually contiue to different clubs and bars. For the second year running we will be heading to Vasity on Wednesday nights and gathering at our sponsors, Walkabout!
It’s a great bonding session with loads of laughs and some great times you’ll never forget!
We've got a good relationship with many of the other sports teams who you will also get to know on Wednesday nights or on the annual SU tour that happens some time in March, now this is definitely an event you don't want to miss!
So even if you have never played before, drop by on training day, I'm sure you'll fit right in!!
Training will start on Tuesday 30th September @ 6 pm at the Sugden Sports centre.

Tuesday - Sugden Centre Skills & Games 6-8pm Wednesday - Game Day (Check Fixtures) Friday - Sugden Centre Team plays and Fitness 6-8pm
