Training Sessions
WHEN: Monday Nights
WHERE: Platt Lane Complex
MEETING: Outside the union at 6.30-7pm
For the first month members of the team will be meeting people at the entrance to the union and travelling down to the complex with them. So even if you miss the first few weeks and you fancy coming along either contact Cameron on the details below or meet us at the union at 6.45pm
Ever had an urge to have a kick around with your mates in the park or have a serious bit of competitiveness, and feel like your part of an amazing team?..........
Well heres your chance. With us you feel like your really part of a team and whats best is we enjoy everything we do, whether were winning 5-0 or whether were down 10-0(and trust us we know what both feels like).
TRAINING - you want it you got it. Monday nights we train from 7.30 till 9 at platt lane and when uni starts in the autumn we also play on sunday afternoons in the park for a couple of hours. Theres no pressure when you come, if you wana come for a couple of weeks and try it out then thats cool, let us know and we'll give ya more details and after you come its up to you whether you wana give it a go again.
MATCHES - matches are on a wednesday afternoon, alternating between home or away. Everybody gets their chance to shine over the year and one lucky person each week gets voted players player
Nevermind playing football, the nights out are m!nt too. From fancy dress to boat races and drinking games you'll never be bored, and with the help of the social sec there will always be a new event to look forward to. In the past few years we've toured Dublin, the Isle of Man and Lloret De Mar playing football and drinking the bars dry while at it too!
