some facts about manchester met surf club

 - We are one of the biggest sports clubs at MMU

 - While we are one of the biggest sports clubs we still see our members as friends and not numbers

 - You dont previously have to had any surf experiance

 - We have our own surfboards and wetsuits

- The paps love us, we have been published in surf magazines, been shown on itv and are currently having our own documentary made about us

 - We have well experianced surfers in the club that can help new members learn the in's and out's of the surfing world including longboard rider Mark Stephenson, South African wave ripper Donovan Pearce and the 5th best student female surfer in Britain Sarah Lewis

 - The surf club are a diverse lot, we have members from Australia, South Africa, California etc, why they decided to come to rainy Manchester we dont know 

 - We are not prejudice, we offer membership to all students, graduates and surfing mancunians

 - We are also known as Manchester Surf by our non MMU members
