At last it’s the MMUFilm society!

Back and re-branded after what can only be described as a collected sigh of crushing failure after last years society (which ran for a record 3 weeks). So, after the obligatory semi-sobered deliberation between the four leading cinematic lights of the North West (James, Jon, Ben & Charlie) the society has regenerated into what hopefully is a fresh, exciting group for all cinephiles - and those who just want to see some great films on the cheap!

We will be showing those critically acclaimed flicks you wanted to see but never got round to, and ones that are just needed to be seen again and again! If that wasn’t enough we also plan on trips to the cinema for anything that is just too good to miss (for free of course!)
So for a simple membership fee you can join a group of joyous cinema lovers, numerous nights at the cinema and the comfort of recent classics you may have missed and all on a big screen in MMU on a Wednesday, every Wednesday.

Please keep checking this site for continued updates and information on the films we will be showing, trips etc-and feel free to chip in and offer ideas of any films you think the society really should see.
