About Us

For over 10 years we have provided advice and support for students at MMU.

Over that time we have expanded the service and maintained several core principles which led to us gaining the Community Legal Service (CLS) Quality Mark.

The team we have now is highly professional and able to assist with just about any problem you may face.

We are a specialist unit working with students on a wide variety of issues and as such, we work with a number of organisations to ensure we stay up-to-date and relevant as well as provide consultative advice for Officers when dealing with university procedures.

In 2007 we moved into the new Advice Centre on the third floor of the Students' Union building on Oxford Road. We also expanded the outreach service to ensure that students at Didsbury, Gaskell, Hollings, Crewe, Alsager, and Aytoun are able to access our service easily.
