Register to Vote

Before you can vote you need to register. You can be registered at more than one address, for example your home address and your term time address.

If you live in MMU halls of residence then you will already be registered there. You may also be registered already if you live in private accommodation, and have completed and returned the annual canvas form in October.

If you are unsure if you're registered then you can check with your local council to see if you're on the list, or simply submit a new registration.

We want to make it as easy as possible for you to vote. To register, you can email your details to the Students' Union and we will forward them to the Council, who will then send you the form that you need to fill out. All we need is your full name and your address, including the postcode.

Details sent to us will not be used for any other purpose and will be deleted once forwarded to the council.
