Duty Manager

Full time

40 hours per week

Initial fixed term contract to end March 2014

£19,621 to £21,519 per annum

 

We are seeking to appoint a well-motivated individual to support our Venue Manager in providing the highest standards of bar and venue operations. The successful applicant will have previous experience of duty management and supervision of staff in a bar or nightclub environment and a commitment to providing the highest possible standards of customer care. This post is initially offered on a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.

Marketing and Communications Assistant

37 hours per week

Fixed Term Contract commencing June 2013 to end 4 October 2013

£6.93 per hour inclusive of holiday pay (Pay award due 1 September 2013)

 

We are currently looking for someone to assist the marketing department in the planning, co-ordination and delivery of Welcome Week 2013 and any other projects as required.

 

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisation skills and the ability to work with and alongside a wide variety of staff and students. In addition, they will be extremely capable on social media such as Facebook and Twitter, and know how to interact with students effectively.

 

Previous experience in an events/marketing-related subject and in web and/or digital marketing would also be beneficial.

 

NB: This role is suitable for a recent graduate or current student but please note - you do not have to be a student of MMU or any other institution to apply. The successful candidate will be required to work the entire Welcome Week period: 21st September – 30th September including Sat 21st and Sunday 22nd September 2013.
