  • Our Sales Ambassadors are confident, self-motivated, love nightlife, have sales experience and could talk the hind legs off a donkey!

  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • The ability to work on own initiative, organizing work and time effectively and to be able to assess priorities.

4. WELCOME WEEK 2013 REPS WANTED!!

Help make Welcome Week 2013 the BEST one yet!
 

After the great success of Welcome Week 2012, we are looking to recruit over 30 Welcome Week Reps again this year. This will give you the opportunity to help shape the university experiences of more than 8,000 fresher's, and be paid to do so! You will have fun, work hard and make new friends!

Help to make one of the biggest and most memorable weeks of a student’s life brilliant, by being on hand to motivate as well as guide all new MMU students.

 

You will be part of a key team that help move students into new halls of residence over the weekend of 20th/21st September 2013, work fresher’s fair, and other key events over Welcome Week 2013 such as Alton Towers, coffee mornings and much more!

 

Working as part of a team you will encourage new students to make the most out of their first week of University by getting them involved in events and activities taking place and helping to make their first impression of MMU an amazing one. You may also:
 

  • Be the first point of contact for any questions about uni and the union
  • Co-ordinate and help organise and deliver welcome week events and activities
  • Help run the fresher's fair
  • Help promote the welcome week programme
  • Help new students move into halls and give them any help and advice they need

 

Reps need to have an outgoing personality and good communication skills. Just turn up to the recruitment day to find out more. The recruitment day will be as follows:

 

Tuesday 28th May, 11am - 1pm

5. OPERATION SUPERVISORS (PART TIME)

 

Are you looking for part time work to start September 2013?  MMUnion is currently recruiting student staff to work in support of our venues throughout Welcome Week 2013 and beyond.

 

Limited shifts are also available for an immediate start.

 

 

We are looking for people who have previous experience of working in a busy bar and an understanding of health, safety and hygiene law and practice; alongside a strong commitment to excellent customer service standards and a flexible approach to working according to operational and customer demand.

 

 

Student Staff Supervisor roles are hourly paid at £7.13 per hour inclusive of holiday pay. Pay award due 1st September 2013.

 

 

These are part time student staff roles offering the opportunity to work in the region of 0 to 12 hours per week. Evening and weekend working will be required.
