All sports clubs and societies are run by the Student Activites Centre which is located within the Students' Union at MMU . We also have two full-time student officers dedicated entirely to sports and societies for Manchester and Cheshire campuses.

Manchester and Cheshire sports clubs compete separately (and against each other!) in the BUCS competition and also in the legendary Interfaculty Cup, which takes place at the start of the spring term.

Membership 
 

All Activities whether club or society require membership to Student Activities. This costs £5, and is a one off annual charge. It replaces the old AU membership (which was previously incorporated into memberships in Manchester), and covers all Student Activities members under our Platinum Insurance Policy when on Students' Union activities. MMU Cheshire students who purchased mutiple years cover, for AU membership, have been transferred to Student Activities Membership for the remaining duration of cover.
