AU & SU Awards Evening 2010

The annual Students' Union & Athletic Union Awards evening took place on Friday 21st May at Bank Corner in Alsager. The evening was hosted by Leanne Cardill (Vice-President Cheshire) & Joe Miller (Student Activities Officer).

The awards ceremony started with a Student Activites review presented by Stephanie Taylor (Spors Sub-Group Chair). Amongst the presentation of awards there were also speeches given by Sam Hunt (VP Student Activites Cheshire Elect) on the Student Activites year ahead, a Students' Union review presented by Nicole Pogmore (Student Union Student Staff Member and Sports Sub Group Vice-Chair) & Rhiannon Sears (VP Cheshire Elect) presented the Students' Union year ahead preview.

At the end of the night there was also a special presenation and speech given by Phil Kynaston and Leanne Cardill in honour of Barbara Clark, who after 16 years wokring at the Union, was awarded Honourary Life Membership to the Students' Union after recently retiring.
