Focus Dance

Focus Dance is a Contemporary dance society that allows students from all years to work together to create exciting dance works to showcase to audiences throughout the north west. Through technique based workshops on a weekly basis Focus will also further build and improve on skills you have gained from previous training. If you are looking to improve strength and flexibility, Focus will also intergrate yoga and pilates into rehearsals. With all that said Focus has been set up with the intention to have fun and enjoy dance in a non academic way whilst continuing to improve skills and overall performance.

Over the next year we are hoping to create work to perform around the north west, performing in local theaters and putting on shows in our very own Axis Arts Center. We are also hoping to enter Focus in dance competitions. Very exciting and a great opportunity!!! So get in touch and come along to our rehearsals. (Rehearsals begin September 2011)
