Introduction to the club  
MMUC Men’s Football Club is the biggest club at MMUC and a constantly growing club offering a competitive, dedicated and outgoing environment to all its members. The squad is currently made up 80 members, with a mixture of seniors and freshers making up 7 football teams (5 play in BUCS on a Wednesday and 2 play on a Saturday) and a futsal team. The first team competes in one of the highest leagues possible within the University structure – the BUCS Northern Conference 3A, with the rest of the teams playing in lower leagues to cater for all standards.
From the very beginning of the year, the club’s social events play a huge role in the squad’s cohesion. This is mainly through a Sports Night every Wednesday after the teams’ matches, but also includes a huge range of activities throughout term, a tour abroad after the season has finished and an end of year awards ceremony.

Interesting facts
·         Our head coach holds his "EUFA A" Coaching License/qualification.
·       On Saturdays we play in a league within the national structure against semi-pros.
·         Our club will be an FA Charter Standard club for the season 2010/11.
·         We are 1 of only 10 nationally selected FA Football Focus universities.
·         We have links with the FA to run coaching & officiating courses on campus.
