MMU Cheshire might be in the middle of nowhere and may not have the best night life, however it's always the people around you that make a difference and here at this campus we all really do! As soon as you have got to know people and start taking part in social events, there is no doubt you will love the place.

Other universities like MMU claim to have the best 'Banter', but when you attend MMUC you will truly experience the meaning of the word.

We know how to have fun off court as well as how to train and play hard on court. The MMUC Netball Club is one of the largest clubs on campus, and we are really involved with most things going on at the uni. We support our own players as well as offering our support to the other teams.

We also work with the other clubs to raise funds. For example, last December we joined the football club to create a calendar which was sold to students to raise money for both the clubs.

Once a year, we get to participate in the Interfaculty Cup. This is where all the MMU Cheshire teams compete against the MMU teams in sports such as Mens Football , Women’s Football, Netball, Waterpolo, Men’s Hockey, Women's Hockey, Rugby League,  Rugby Union, Women's Rugby, Basketball etc. and the overall winner gets the Interfaculty Cup. MMU Cheshire has been in possession of the Cup for years running now!!!

We have four competitive teams in the university leagues as well as a fifth team who are committed to developing netball talent and compete locally. There is also a Saturday League team starting this year. So, there is always a space for everyone!
