SOCIALS

These are held once a week, normally on a Wednesday night before going out to the Student Union. During a social you will engage in a number of drinking games organised by your social secretaries.

This year we have four social secretaries:

It is important that you provide your social secs with the outmost respect, as it is hard to lead a social especially when others are talking over you.  

You will need to provide your OWN alcohol, we suggest you don’t bring wine. REMEMBER to bring mixer if your drinking spirits! Drinking cups will be provided so there is no need for you to bring any.

Sometimes the socials will be themed. For example, we have previously done lifeguards, chavs, Kiss, robbers, where’s wally etc. Therefore if the social has a theme we expect you to dress up according to the theme, plenty of notice will be given so that you can buy the appropriate wear. J

Location theme and time of socials will be confirmed at the start of that week. This will be announced at training and on this page so keep your eyes peeled.

Socials allow everyone to get to know each other better, make new friends and have plenty of fun! They allow our club to bond better so please get involved and don’t hesitate to ask if you can bring a friend!
