The 25th Article of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights is the only article which refers to the built environment. It says that adequate shelter and housing are a fundamental human right.

Article 25 Disaster Relief Society focuses on fundraising in Manchester for the charity Article 25. We are a set up by a group of Architecture students, but the society is open to absolutely everyone with an interest in humanitarian relief.

We aim to run a series of lectures, workshops and events throughout the year to raise money and educate people in design for disaster relief.
