The Indus Folk Society - Manchester Metropolitan University

The society aims to provide a neutral platform for students of South Asian origin where not only can they celebrate their similarities but also learn to respect each others diversities.

On a secondary front the society envisions to educate the greater international student community about the social, economical and political realities of South Asia through cultural shows, seminars, lectures, movie events and food festivals.

Kindly note that the society holds no political and religious affiliations but only endorses the policy of equality and respect for all.
