We are a pioneering group that works towards bringing greater benefit to different sectors of society including small business' straight through to underprivileged or struggling members or communities in society.

 

This is achieved by helping to boost economic activity in a sustainable and ethical way through different channels involving projects that are actively implemented.

 

We are a motivated, dedicated society using our members’ knowledge, experience, personal skills and potential to push forward innovating ideas with the goal of working as a team to successfully turn these ideas into a reality.

 

SIFE is a worldwide organisation that supports universities in creating teams and projects in different countries. We are MMU SIFE and our current projects are based in Manchester.

 

We welcome students from any faculty who have specialized skills that can contribute to the team. Including those who are looking to develop their skills or gain experience with working with different types of people, agencies, events planning and management, leadership skills, sustainability, financial literacy, teaching skills and many more.

 

MMU SIFE's current project is working with youths who have dropped out of high school within Moss Side. The team aims to teach these children entrepreneur knowledge in a new exciting way for them to help discover and understand their talents and potential. With the aim of hopefully teaching them new skills and eventually re-enter them into the school system.

 

If you are interested in developing your personal skills or learning new ones in an  active, dynamic and exciting environment or you are just interested in voluntary work helping within the development of society and communities at all levels,  then feel free to get in touch.
