poker society

The newly created MMU Poker Society runs across various venues from informal house games to our own exclusive casino areas. Games tend to cost between £3 - £5 and all experience levels are welcome!

If you are new to poker let us know and we will teach any beginners before you play any games for money. We enjoy poker for the social side as well as the chances to win money and all players are welcome so bring your friends.

As a new society we are still deciding some of the details for the year and may consider entering big tournaments once we get going. We are also planning to hold joint games with UoM students to increase numbers and get the best deals from casinos.

Tournaments are currently being held on Sunday. Meet at the Student Union at 1.30 and at 2.00 we move to the casino.
