RAG stands for Raise and Give and thats what we do! Our society is all about having a good time for a good cause.We are a new fundraising team aiming to raise awareness and money through organising different fundraising events throughout the year.
As a newly formed group we are looking for team members of all kinds we have opportunities ranging from serving beer at our events to organising our events, there really is something for everyone!
Becoming part of the RAG society truly is an amazing opportunity - one not to be missed! Do it for the charities, do it to boost your cv, do it to meet new people or simply do it for the FUN. Whatever your reasons your help is treasured - a small amount of your time can make a lifetime of difference to the people we help through our fundraising. This year is our launch of RAG at MMU and we want it to be a special year, we have lots of ideas in the pipeline for you guys but a few more couldn't hurt. Challenge events

So many of you have always wanted to go on trips like these and this is one of the cheapest and most worthwhile ways of doing it, whilst exploring the world you will also be raising funds for deserving causes

Hitchhike your way to prague, croatia or morocco
rag raids
This is the most direct way to raise money for charity. Its simple, you get a bucket, go to a public place, give the great British public a big smile and ask if they would like to make a donation. These days out are a great way to meet new people, have a laugh, discover your inner charm and most importantly raise some money and make a difference to people who need it.
We have two rag raids coming up in Manchester city centre, the first is 11th December and the second 14th December

What says sixties more than a camping trip in a The sixties brought us the hippy revolution
vintage vw campervan. Picture gathering around and its up to us to keep the hippy culture
a campfire taking in the sound of classic records, alive. We all have a bit of hippy spirit in us
a drink in one hand and a toasted marshmellow ready to be let out -
in the other... this trip is an opportunity to be a free soul
and enjoy a true sense of adventure!
