Welcome to the Sci-Fi Society!
Hello!
We're a friendly, diverse bunch of folks who enjoy a nice bit of Sci-Fi and everything else under its broad canvas a little bit too much.
We congregate every Monday at 7.30pm in the Met Bar (in the MMUnion building by All Saints) to discuss the universe of Sci-Fi over a few hearty ales.
We also go on regular cinema trips (including IMAX) for paid up student members to see the latest Sci-Fi related flick (or whatever is on, we have to burn up the membership fee somehow :P ).
So, whether you're interested in all things Sci-Fi, or if you’re interested in:
· Films like Star Wars, Star Trek, Close Encounters, Blade Runner, Moon and Serenity
· TV shows like Doctor Who, Red Dwarf, Firefly and Misfits
· Books by Arthur C. Clarke, Philip K. Dick, Robert Heinlein, Frank Herbert and Iain M. Banks
and want to meet some new people then come along! Meet up with us Monday at 7.30pm in the MMUnion building! Have a drink! Become a paid member and see some films for free! Don't feel pressured to pay up and join, just turn up at one of our weekly events! We will happily have you along!
All events should have full disabled access and the like. If there are any issues or you have a question, please get into contact with us!

· DVD Nights: Bring along your own DVD and we'll have a vote!
