Enjoy Cricket all year round with MMU Cricket Club
Joining the Cricket Club could be one of the best decision you make during your time at University whether you are a current club cricketer or not. For those who do play cricket regularly during the summer the cricket club offers you the oppotunity to train and play cricket all year round indoor and outdoor. For those who don't play regularly or are looking to start playing at all we also offer a supporting and understanding atmosphere as well as having links to a number of club in the surounding area who are always keen for new players during the summer.
Training
Training starts on Wednesday the 28th of September and will run every week from 5-6pm at Old Trafford Indoor centre. The first three training sessions will be £2 each as they are just taster sessions, however after three weeks it will be members only.
MMU Cricket Club aims to achieve the following objectives for its members:
• To provide facilities and coaching that will enable you to become a better player, both technically and physically.
• To provide members who don't currently play club cricket with a club in the Lancashire/Cheshire area if they want to start playing regularly.
• To provide a social atmosphere where our members can meet new people and good friends for the future.
MMU Cricket Club also has a busy social calendar and there is the end-of-year tour to Newquay, photos can be found on our Facebook group.
