Welcome to the MMU Hiking Club!

We are pround to be one of the biggest and most popular clubs at MMU, running weekly trips into the Peak District, Lake District or Snowdonia.

We welcome all people who are enthusiastic to escape the city at the weekend, climb mountains and fells and see some stunning views.

Club Benefits

• Not just hiking! We also have many camping, climbing and kayaking trips throughout the term.
• Weekly trips to either the Lake District, Peak District or Snowdonia.
• Weekly socials and monthly curry nights!

Socials 

We are a friendly and very social group who have regular curry socials and meet every week at 'The Pub' (Grovenor Street, opposite Footage) on Tuesday evenings. These are general socialising events, feel free to come along and find out what we are all about, and ask questions about trips and what kind of equipment you might need.
