We train twice a week, once on Wednesday afternoons 1-3pm and again on Sunday 8-10pm at the Manchester Aquatics Centre. Joining Water Polo is a great opportunity to meet loads of great new people, travel around the UK and elsewhere (Sportsvest Tour Easter 2012) and we put as much as effort into our sport as we do into our socials. Most Wednesday nights we will all get together for team socials and usually fancy dress.
In addition to this, many more team socials and fun outings are planned throughout the year!
We are all really excited for 2011/2012 as we are expecting both our teams to be successful in every league we enter!
With the women’s Team new promotion to BUCS Championship and the Men’s Team set to capitalise on last year’s success, This year is surely the best time to join one MMU’s most decorated clubs!
We look forward to welcoming lots of Freshers and new players. Look out for our stall at Freshers Fair 21st & 22nd September 2011.
