Most courses will have at least one course rep who acts as the first line of student representation within the University. Course reps are fundamental in ensuring the student voice is not only heard, but listened to as well!

These views can be anything to do with your experience within your faculty or department including your teaching and learning experience, the availability of resources such as the library right through to the pastoral support you receive from your personal tutors.

Course Reps usually start their roles a few weeks after a course begins teaching for a new academic year, your teacher should make you aware of the scheme, providing you with information about what a Course Rep is and how you can go about becoming one. However, if this has not happened, you can volunteer at any point during the academic year to become a rep for your course.
